The Scotts ~ (Family)

I had the opportunity of photographing the family of the pastor of our church a few weeks ago. He and his wife have four adorable children, and they decided to make the kids right at home by holding the shoot in their back yard. It was great to have the kids in their own element... They did very well, especially the older little boy. I think I have a special bond with him because I help watch him in Sunday School. ...Okay, actually he's just a ham. ;-) I thought the back yard session was a great plan, and I hope I have the chance to try it out with other families!

Alex ~ (Senior)

The lovely young lady below was the lucky girl who got to be the object of my very first senior shoot... Or in other words, she got to be my guinea pig. ;-) I could not have picked a better one! Alex is a great girl with a very friendly, confident personality, and I had a great time doing this shoot with her. I really enjoyed exploring the option of high school senior photo shoots, and I hope I have the opportunity to do lots more in the future!

The Elmores ~ (Family)

I have been looking forward to this session for quite a while. This was actually the first family I ever spoke to about taking pictures for them, but they decided to wait until fall to get them done. I was so excited to finally get these adorable kids in my camera! The older two were totally loving the camera, hamming it up the whole time. And though I'm told the youngest is not at all fond of the camera, she did quite well allowing me to capture her pretty face. Yet another beautiful family!

The Niebaums ~ (Family)

This was a very fun session for me. Not only was it the first time I had a family session where all the children were over the age of 5, but these folks are some good friend of mine. The older daughter babysits my kids on a regular basis, so we've gotten to know and love her and her family even more than we already did through that. I had such fun hanging out and joking around with them on this afternoon a few weeks ago... oh, and I took a few pictures, too. ;-)
